Shii~ (しぃ~) in Japanese is used to indicate silence or secrecy, similar to ‘shhh’.

That's what we want to be. A tiny but ambitious 15-seat omakase and otsumami restaurant in the downtown of Helsinki, yet secluded and hidden.

Alongside delicate Japanese-inspired cuisine we offer passionately curated wine, sake and whiskey lists. Guests enjoy a set menu based on the best, seasonal ingredients. Daily specials and extras are available.

Yōkoso.

Our 11-course omakase and otsumami -tasting menu is based on a daily selection of sashimi, sushi, and small Japanese plates.
All guests are seated at the counter and served each course at the same time, directly by the chef.
The menu follows the seasons and changes based on the quality of the ingredients. We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions related to allergies; however, our menu cannot be made vegetarian, as seafood is always included.

We also have an extensive wine list, consisting mostly champagnes and white wines
